IT'S "CALIFORNIA, HERE WE COME!" FOR COLLECTORS OF THE WALT DISNEY CLASSICS COLLECTION
2002 Celebration of Walt Disney Art Classics Event Celebrates All Things Disney "Made in California"
BURBANK, Calif. - Even though the sun sets in the West, the fun and excitement of this year's Celebration of Walt Disney Art Classics won't fade into the sunset as we salute all things "Made in California" - - April 19 - 21, 2002, at the newly expanded Disneyland® Resort in Anaheim, California. Beginning in 1923 the "Golden State" has been the home of The Walt Disney Company and ever since has been the source of all things Disney - from films, TV productions, theme parks, etc. and this is why "Made in California" is the logical choice for the theme of our 2002 event. Walt Disney Art Classics salutes Disney's rich California heritage by presenting this fun-filled gathering for the first time in California (the three previous celebrations were presented at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida). Since 1999 the yearly Celebration of Walt Disney Art Classics has become one of the most popular and highly anticipated Disney collector gatherings produced anywhere, attracting guests from across the United States and around the world. Guests can make their "California Dreamin" a reality and feel like a "Star" as we pay homage to the fun, glamour and excitement of the place we call home. The annual Celebration of Walt Disney Art Classics is a yearly sell-out and there are only a few packages still available. Collectors with questions or who are interested in making reservations can contact Walt Disney Event Services (407 - 827 - 7600). Highlights of our three-day 2002 celebration in the warm "California Sun" include:
